A warning has gone up in a busy car park after thieves targeted a van in broad daylight. On May 18, between 9.45am and 11am, a large grey van was broken into when it was parked in a car park on Traps Hill, Loughton.
The vehicle was left in what would normally be considered as a safe location due to the large number of people attending either the leisure centre or the library.
People are being reminded to be vigilant with their vehicles, ensuring that they are left secure and without valuables on display.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the police on 101.
