Members of Waltham Forest and Redbridge Green Party joined thousands of campaigners in a march last Saturday to protect the NHS in London.
In line with local campaigns to save Whipps Cross Hospital, Green party members showed the NHS support by marching from Jubilee Gardens to the Department of Health on Whitehall.
Mark Dawes, a member of the party, said: “People’s lives should not be put at risk for a political ideology.”
Mr Dawes said public services should be publicly funded with the government providing a health service that gives safe levels of care.
