The Central line is now operating a good service following earlier severe delays and a part suspension.
The line was closed westbound between Leytonstone and Liverpool Street during the morning rush-hour due to a faulty train.
Transport for London (TfL) also said a person had been taken ill at Stratford Station, causing further delays.
But the route is now operating as normal and the delays have been cleared.
