Spring cleaners can drop off unwanted items at a local Chingford business during a week-long charity drive to support the disability charity Scope.
The Chingford Safestore has teamed up with Scope for the ‘Dash to Donate’ challenge and donations are being accepted there from May 27 until June 2.
Clothes, books, toys and household goods are all wanted and people can pick up donation bags and drop off any items at the Safestore branch.
The donated items will be sold by Scope across its network of charity shops across the country, raising funds to support its work with disabled people.
Dean Tidy, manager of Safestore Chingford, said: “It is a great opportunity for people to find a new home for things that they have loved but no longer need.
“It is a very worthy cause so we hope that local people in Chingford or the Waltham Forest area will be really generous.”
Some items will not be accepted for donation, check at the store for details.
Safestore is located in Shadbolt Avenue, Chingford.
