Park lovers are invited to have their say on improving the play areas of two local spaces.
People can meet the designers who will be improving equipment in Walthamstow’s Folly Lane Park and Chase Lane Park in Chingford tomorrow as Waltham Forest Council prepares to spend £1.35 million on open spaces this year.
The meeting takes place at Higham Hill Hut in Higham Hill Recreation Ground in Hecham Close, Walthamstow between 11am and 3pm.
The programme of improvement works includes £790,000 worth of works to design new play areas for parks across the borough, with the rest set aside for improvements to public spaces.
