An education and training fair aimed at Asian women takes place next month.
The event, which is being organised by the University of East London (UEL) in partnership with Redbridge Council, will be at at Ilford Town Hall on Thursday June 6 between 10am and 2.30pm.
There will be a range of advisors from Redbridge Council, along with local other education and training providers, offering advice on opportunities that are available.
It is open to all women aged 16 and over, and includes a complimentary buffet lunch.
Jasbir Panesar, Community Development Co-ordinator at UEL, said: “We would really encourage Asian women of all ages to come along to find out more information about the plethora of training and education opportunities that are available in the local community.
"UEL and its partners have enjoyed great success with this event in recent years, and we look forward to building on that momentum.”
Leader of Redbridge Council Cllr Keith Prince added: “The council is very happy to work in partnership with UEL to bring this fair to Redbridge again.
"Attendance at this event has always been high and the range of stalls, exhibitions and displays have been well received by attendees."
