Epping Forest District Council has spoken out to clear up confusion over parking after last night's PCC meeting.
Highways Portfolio Holder, Gary Waller, told the audience in the council chamber, along with the 250 people watching online, that there would be 300 short term parking spaces made available in Epping, soon.
Today, the council have admitted that this was a mistake and that there are actually only plans for 100.
