A predatory rapist gained the trust of a 14-year-old girl and a 26-year-old woman before subjecting them to sex attacks.
At a trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court yesterday, Colin Anthony Blake, 52, of Ascot Road, Watford, was found guilty of two counts of raping a woman, then aged 26, at an address in Woodford Green in March 2012.
Blake had already been found guilty at an earlier trial of raping and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in Hackney in September 2010.
The court heard how Blake raped the two women, who were not known to each other, after gaining their confidence.
The Woodford Green attack happened at the home of a woman who Blake had recently started a relationship with.
He had promised to take her for an evening out and asked to come in and wait while she was getting ready, but soon began demanding sex
When the woman declined, Blake forced her into her bedroom and raped her twice.
He was arrested and charged with rape three days later and, in August 2012, he was also charged with the rape of a 14-year-old girl who he had attacked twice in 2010.
Blake had been in a relationship with the girl’s mother at the time and, on September 3, he arranged to meet the teenager on the pretence of buying her new school uniform.
Instead, Blake drove his victim to an address in Hackney before raping her and driving her back to a relative's home, warning her not tell anyone about the attack.
Later that month, while Blake was staying with the girl’s mother, he crept into the teenager’s bedroom. She awoke to find him touching her.
Speaking after yesterday’s trial, Detective Constable Dal Riyat from the Met’s Sapphire Command, said: "Colin Blake is a dangerous and predatory rapist who gained the confidence of his victims before attacking them.
"He has shown no remorse for the pain and suffering he has inflicted on these women. I hope the fact that he has been found guilty will go some way to gaining closure for his victims."
Blake will be sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court on June 21.
