A pub will be saying 'cheers' to a hospice when it holds a special fundraising week for the charity.
Instead of its usual charity weekend, the Woodbine pub in Honey Lane, Waltham Abbey, will host an entire week of events to raise money for St Clare Hospice in Hastingwood.
Planned events include steak and quiz nights a golf day and speed pool and karaoke.
There will even be specially-brewed St Clare real ale - brewed by Pitfields Brewery - on sale throughout the week.
The fun gets under way on June 1 and runs until June 9.
Bar manager Mae Lothian said: "It's local and a lot of people who come in here have had some dealings with the hospice.
“What better way to support a local charity?."
To book places for the steak night and golf day or find out more about the events, call the pub on 01992 713050.
