The YMCA is running a free and confidential sexual health clinic for teenagers.
Forest YMCA youth workers and trained volunteers will run the ‘Come Correct’ project for young people aged 14 to 18.
The staff will provide them with free condoms, contraception and sexual health advice on a range of health matters including STIs, unwanted pregnancies and social issues such as peer pressure.
They will also encourage teenagers not to be afraid about coming forward if they are in an abusive relationship, referring anyone suffering to social services if necessary.
Young people can access the service at the Forest YMCA building in Forest Road, Walthamstow, every Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm and Fridays from 3pm to 5pm.
