Trumpet player Jay Phelps performs at the East Side Jazz Club in Leytonstone next Tuesday (June 4).
He's backed by Ruben Fox on the sax, Benet McLean on Piano, Mark Lewandowski on bass and Clive Fenner on drums.
The gig is at the Crown pub in Leytonstone High Street from 8.30pm.
Admission is £6.
The same venue hosts alt country act The Lucky Strikes the following day (Wednesday June 5).
The show, organised by local promoters What's Cookin', also features support from pub rockers Graham Larkbey and the Escape Committee.
Doors open at 8pm. Free entry but donations to the acts welcome.
Folk-blues singer Ewan D Rodgers is at Loughton Folk Club on Thursday (May 30).
Entrance is £5 and it begins from 8pm.
The show is at the Loughton Club in Station Road.
Waltham Abbey Folk Club has a feature evening with The Foxglove Trio on Monday (June 3).
This lot play traditional acoustic songs and are former New Roots finalists.
It's at the Royal British Legion building in Brooker Road from 8.30pm.
Admission is £5.
Keith Kendrick and Sylvia Needham are the guests of Walthamstow Folk Club on Sunday (June 2).
They are described as “proper folk music” and are said to produce a striking acapella harmony sound.
The show, at Ye Olde Rose and Crown pub in Hoe Street, costs £7 entry or £5 for concessions.

The Scholars headline the Square in Harlow this Friday (May 31).
Support comes from Coastlines, Chasing Cadence and D.E.A.D.
