A teenager is in hospital after suffering a large electric shock at a train station.
The 17-year-old was injured at Ilford Station in Cranbrook Road just before 2.45am this mornng.
It is believed he was on top of a train and came into contact with overhead wires.
A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said: "A patient, a 17-year-old male, was treated at the scene for burns and taken to Royal London Hospital."
He remains in hospital today.
