An exhibition of artwork inspired by the Star Wars universe, called Star Walls, is taking place at The Stone Space in Church Lane, Leytonstone.
The works are in honour of Stuart Freeborn, the head special effects and make-up artist of Star Wars who was born in Leytonstone.
The gallery is open on Thursday and Friday between 2pm and 6pm, Saturdays between 12pm and 5pm and Sundays between 12pm and 4pm.
The exhibition runs until June 9 and the gallery is found next to the main entrance of Leytonstone Library.
Artists taking part include Sarah Carpenter, Cristabel Christo, Jeff Cox, dARTh, Rupert Greyling, Carne Griffiths and Maria Slovakova.
