Toddlers got a lesson in brushing their teeth when dental staff visited their pre-school as part of National Smile Month.
Dozens of tots at Woodford Green Pre-School in South Woodford High Road got to grips with a giant toothbrush and set of gnashers as part of the event last week organised by Bright and White Dental Spa, in Chigwell Road, South Woodford,
The firm's Kristy Davis said: "The children were very receptive for their age and they loved the giant mouth and toothbrush, it was great fun.
"We taught them about how to brush your teeth properly but also the importance of not eating too many sugary foods".
The children also went away with stickers and balloons as part of the event.
National Smile Month, which runs from May 20 to June 20, aims to improve the oral hygiene of the public, with organisers estimating that three in every ten children starting school have tooth decay.
