Luxury hampers have been rolling into the district’s hospice in an effort to raise vital funds. St Clare Hospice in Hastingwood received four hampers filled with Fortnum and Mason products from Aktrion printers in Waltham Cross, which the company had won. The following day, Senator Pens in Harlow donated another basket filled with treats, which was won in a trade competition. The hospice’s fundraising manager, Anna Baldwin, said: “It’s great when local companies remember us whey they are rewarded this way, as it must be hard to part with such delicious goodies. “They will do well at auctions and raffles held in the name of St Clare Hospice across our area this summer. “That means more funds to allow us to help patients and their families living in the area.”
