Turner Prize winning artist to exhibit at William Morris Gallery
Turner Prize winning artist Jeremy Deller is to have an exhibition on display at the William Morris Gallery for around two months early next year.
English Magic, Deller’s exhibition for the British Pavilion at the 55th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, will be at the gallery, on Forest Road, as part of its national tour.
The tour will enable the public to see the British Council-commissioned work adapted specially for the William Morris Gallery, which is the only London venue of the tour.
English Magic reflects the roots of much of Deller’s work, focusing on British society – its people, icons, myths, folklore and its cultural and political history.
