Police will discuss the issue of prostitution at a public meeting.
The Redbridge Police Community Engagement Group (RPCEG) will hold its AGM on June 19.
Borough Commander Sue Williams will be at the meeting alongside Mark Benbow, Head of Crime Partnerships at Redbridge Council, to discuss strategy for tackling prostitution in Redbridge.
They will be joined by representatives of the voluntary sector including the Redbridge Street Pastors who have been awarded funding to run a ‘Safe Space’ project to help women find ways out of prostitution.
The meeting takes place at Forest House in Clements Road, Ilford, from 7pm – 9pm.
