Police are appealing for witnesses and information regarding an incident where a 17-year-old boy was stabbed.
On Friday at approximately 4pm police were called to reports of two vehicles driving erratically in the Leyton area.
Officers were informed that a black Volkswagen Golf was chasing and ramming a white Mercedes along Crownfield Road, Hall Road, Stewart Road, Downsell Road and Langthorne Road.
At approximately 4.25pm police were informed that a vehicle matching the description of the white Mercedes, with extensive damage to all sides, was at Whipps Cross Hospital.
On arrival police were informed that one of the passengers of the vehicle, a 17-year-old boy, had been stabbed in the chest.
The injuries were described as non-life threatening and non-life changing.
The victim was treated for his injuries and has since been released.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection to this incident and has been bailed to return in July 2013.
