A man appeared in court today accused of playing a part in the biggest security van heist of the last decade.
Raymond Boland of Chisley Road, Tottenham, was charged by police in April who believe that he was involved in the theft hundreds of thousands of pounds from G4S Cash Solutions Ltd.
The 38-year-old is accused of being one of a group of men who robbed £809,000 from a security van in Middle Lane, Nazeing, in January.
Mr Boland, who has not yet entered a plea, has been released on conditional bail and is barred from applying for any kind of foreign travel document. He must also report to Tottenham police station every Sunday, between the hours of 2pm and 5pm.
On 22 July Mr Boland will have his first appearance at Chelmsford Crown Court.
