A new arts group is running workshops and classes specialising in singing and dancing from North India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Khyal Arts, a social enterprise based in Church Hill, Walthamstow, will be running classes in Hindustani singing and Khathak dancing.
Hindustani singing classes for all ages and abilities have started at The Mill in Coppermill Lane, Walthamstow on Saturdays from 10-11am.
A venue for the Kathak dance classes is still to be confirmed.
Shaun Wood, of Khyal Arts, said: “Walthamstow is a very ethnically diverse place so any art that can enrich the community and bring it together is a good thing.”
