A Jessie J fan inspired by her idol has had her hair cut off for charity.
Christiana Talmadge, nine, raised money for The Little Princess Trust charity, which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer treatment or other illness.
Her hair will also be donated to the charity.
Christiana has raised more than £500 through sponsorship gathered in the lead up to the cut at the Finesse Salon in Sewardstone Road, Chingford, this afternoon.
Christiana has had long hair for a number of years but has had 10 inches cut off.
She was following in the footsteps of Jessie J, who cut off her hair in aid of Red Nose Day.
Christiana’s mother, Anna Talmadge, 43, of Burnham Road in Chingford, said: “She just wanted to help other children. It’s fantastic and such a worthy cause.”
Christiana said: “I want to give my hair to other children who don't have any hair.
“I was looking forward to it and I wasn't nervous.”
