A man who has been on the run for six weeks has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a double shooting.
Police made repeated appeals for help to trace Francis O'Donoghue, 27, after two men were shot in the legs and chest on a travellers' site in Navestock on August 27.
Mr O'Donoghue was arrested in Southgate on Friday night.
