A 23-year-old man has been charged with the robbery of a 12-year-old boy.
Daniel Smith was arrested last night over an incident outside Debden Underground Station on October 1.
The painter, of Colworth Road in Leytonstone, has been charged with one count of robbery.
His arrest comes after police made a public appeal when self-taken photographs of a man suspected of being a thief appeared on Twitter.
Smith will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court later today.
