A foundation helping young people take part in volunteering projects across the world has given out more grants than ever before.
The Jack Petchey Foundation, on Clements Lane, Ilford, has distributed just over £85,000 this year so far and are predicted to give out over £104,000 by the end of the year.
Applications for an ‘Individual Grants for Volunteering’ fund are open all year round to 11 – 25-year-olds in London, Essex and the Algarve.
