Two elderly ladies got more than they bargained for on their weekly shop when they met a store security guard.
Ninety-three-year-old Gwen Potter and Yvonne King, 80, were shopping in Tesco in Waltham Cross when they stumbled across Gary Lineker.
The former football star was wandering around Tesco at the Brookfield Centre posing as a guard to help with a surprise raffle.
Then, to make their day even better, the two ladies from Ashbrook Court care home in Sewardstone, found out that they had won prizes
Mrs King won the grand prize of £1000 and Mrs Potter and their Activities Coordinator Tanya Bowen scooped a £30 voucher each.
Both ladies and their care staff said that they were nicely surprised.
