Police are hunting a gang who robbed a cash-in-transit van earlier this week.
Around 2am on Tuesday morning the van was robbed at gunpoint in Stratford.
The guards had finished collecting money from shops in Westfield Stratford City when they were attacked while leaving the shopping centre.
Two cars boxed the van in as a group of men forced the guards out of the van at gunpoint and into one of their cars.
One of the gang, followed by the two cars, drove the van to Britten Court, Abbey Lane, where they stole several cash boxes.
The guards were locked in the van while the gang escaped in their cars.
The cash boxes were recovered empty nearby.
Police are not revealing how much money was stolen.
