Police were called to Montague Road.
A 17-year-old was shot in Leytonstone on Saturday night.
Police were called to Montague Road at 10.07pm to reports of shots fired.
The boy was subsequently taken to an east London hospital suffering from gunshot injuries.
He was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
There have been no arrests.
Officers from the Met’s gang crime unit are investigating.
