A third man has been arrested over the death of a shopkeeper trying to protect his family and business.
A 38-year-old man was arrested this morning at his home in Barking on suspicion of conspiracy to rob, and is in custody at an east London police station.
Father-of-two Shammi Atwal, from Chigwell, was pushed under a lorry after trying to prevent ten men armed with metal bars and a sledgehammer from robbing his shop.
Vidmantas Gonskoves, 26 and Aurimas Diliunas, 27, appeared at Redbridge Magistrates Court yesterday charged with manslaughter and robbery, and will face trial at the Old Bailey on November 4.
