Race route
The route Tour de France cyclists will be taking through the district was unveiled today.
Stage thee of next year’s le tour will begin in Cambridge and continue along 33 miles of roads in Epping Forest, Redbridge and Waltham Forest en route to the capital.
The race will enter the district on July 7 along Shellow Road near Willingale and pass through Fyfield Moreton and North Weald Bassett before joining Epping High Road and continuing along the B1393.
The peloton will enter Redbridge and cross into Waltham Forest on the A104 before turning left into Church Road, Leyton, and continuing along the A112 near Stratford.
