Four men have been arrested after police found five kilograms of heroin, mixing agents, and over £10,000 in cash during a raid.
A search of an address in Woodford Green connected to the men also led to the discovery of another large quantity of cash and counting machines usually used for money laundering.
The men, all in their 30s, were arrested after a raid in Clapham Manor Street, Lambeth, yesterday.
All four men were arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs.
Detective constable, Michal Lordan said: “This was a very successful pro-active job that has yielded significant seizures and taken four men suspected of being involved in the supply of class ‘A’ drugs off the capital’s streets.
“I’d like to applaud the efforts of the team in making the arrests and thank the Territorial Support Group for their assistance.
“The MPS Central Task Force will not hesitate in targeting those believed to be involved in the supply and control of drugs across London.”
