An annual festival celebrating one of the districts most historic buildings begins on Friday.
Our Lopping festival will be held at Lopping Hall in High Road, Loughton, which was gifted to residents of the town by Queen Victoria in 1884 as compensation for the loss of their right to lop wood from Epping Forest.
Special heritage events will run at the venue from November 1 to November 9 starting with an unveiling of art works and poetry and music performances.
