Tesco Express in North Chingford
A Tesco Express store iwas broken into in the early hours.
Police were called to the store in Station Road, Chingford, at 6:30am on Wednesday after receiving reports of a burglary.
The break-in is believed to have taken place sometime after 1:00am.
Cigarettes, cash and the store telephone were taken.
A spokesman for Tesco said: "This is a now a matter for the police and we are supporting them with their investigation."
No arrests have been made.
