A woman accused of stealing almost £60k from her mother will go on trial in January.
Forty-one-year-old Gina Matthews appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court, this week, charge with fraud and theft.
Ms Matthews, of Barfields Path in Loughton, allegedly cashed cheques totaling nearly £60,000 from 2009 to April this year.
She will also answer charges of stealing a sealed mail bag and a debit card belonging to her mother, Pauline Chalkley, who also lives in Loughton
Ms Matthews did not enter a plea.
