A new free school will consult the public next month ahead of a planned launch next year.
Dv8 Academy, scheduled to open in September next year, will consult the public for six weeks starting on November 1.
Issues include proposed admission arrangements, the school’s curriculum and its location.
The first of two consultation meetings is at 2pm on Friday at 144 Billet Road, Walthamstow.
The second is at 2pm on December 14 at the same location.
Residents can also fill out a questionnaire, found at www.surveymonkey.com/s/dv8academyconsultation.
The school says it plans to specialise in "creative classes" and cater to those aged between 16 and 19
The initial intake is expected to be 300 students, increasing to 400 after one year.
The Department of Education announced a raft of new free schools, four of which are in Waltham Forest, earlier this year.
New schools are required to formally consult residents prior to opening.
