A woman has been stabbed to death in the early hours of this morning.
The victim, who has not been identified, was found injured in Ilford Lane, Ilford, near the junction with Loxford Lane, at 12.15am.
The woman was treated for stab wounds and taken to hospital, where she later died.
Officers from Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.
No arrests have been made.
