A man in his 90s and a woman in her 70s have been taken to hospital following a collision at a roundabout.
Police, fire crews and ambulance services were called to Charlie Brown's Roundabout, in South Woodford, at 1:20pm today following reports of a collision between a white Volvo box van and a red Peugeot 206.
Firefighters cut free two elderly people trapped in the Peugeot 206.
Paramedics treated them for neck and back injuries and they were both taken to Whipps Cross Hospital.
The driver of the Volvo suffered no injuries and no arrests have been made.
