Two men charged with terrorism offences are due to enter their pleas at the Old Bailey today.
Ibrahim Abdullah-Hassan, 28, of Carr Road in Walthamstow, and Shah Jalal Hussain, 31, of Cannon Street Road in Whitechapel, face multiple counts of breaching the Terrorism Act.
It is alleged they published lectures calling for a holy war against the West on or before May 24 and in doing so encouraged terrorism.
The pair is linked to Woolwich murder suspect Michael Adebolajo.
Abdullah-Hassan, also known as Abu Nusaybah, was arrested following an interview on BBC’s Newsnight programme claiming that his friend, Adebolajo, had been offered a job by MI5.
The hearing began at 9.30 this morning.
