Waltham Forest's major Bonfire Night fireworks display will take place on Tuesday.

The Town Hall will be the setting for this year’s free show.

The fireworks, accompanied by a 'best of British' musical soundtrack, will take place in Chestnuts Field, in Forest Road.

There will also be music, fairground rides, food and drink.

Entertainment runs from 6pm to 9pm, with fireworks at 8pm.

Last entry is 7.45pm.

There will be limited blue badge disabled parking which can be booked by phoning ahead.

Guy Fawkes Night will be marked this weekend with firework displays and a funfair in Redbridge.

Barnardo’s Musical Fireworks display will be the only official event taking place in the borough at Barkingside Recreation Ground in Mossford Green, Ilford, on Sunday.

The event will include a firework display for younger audiences at 6.30pm, a second one for all ages at 7.30pm, a funfair, refreshments, music and a beer tent.

Adult tickets will be £5 and children will be £3, with money raised going towards a local children’s charity.

The gate opens at 6.00pm and tickets will be available on entry, with visitors not permitted to bring fireworks or sparklers.

There is a range of events marking Guy Fawkes Night in Epping Forest.

Royal Gunpowder Mills is hosting a festival throughout the weekend, starting at noon each day and running until 7.30pm in Beaulieu Drive, Waltham Abbey.

There will be firework displays at the end of each day, with activities and a theatre production for children.

Entry is £9 for adults, £6.50 for children aged five to 16 and under-fives go free.

Kings Oak Hotel in Pauls Nursery, High Beech, is staging a charity firework party from 2.30pm to 6.30pm on Sunday.

Tickets are £25 for adults and £10 for children and include a carvery lunch and fireworks display.

Abridge Village Hall field, in Ongar Road, will stage a bonfire and display starting at 7.30pm on Saturday.

Tickets are priced £4 for adults and £2 for children, with all profits going to Lambourne School’s swimming pool fund.

Woolston Manor Golf and Country Club in Abridge Road, Chigwell, will also host fireworks on Tuesday from 6pm.

Tickets cost of £5 for adults and £3 for children.

Leverton Primary School in Honey Lane, Waltham Abbey, will put on a display from 6.30pm On November 8, with tickets priced £3.50 in advance or £5 on the night.

On the same day, Ongar Round Table will host a display at Chipping Ongar Primary School, in Greensted Road, Ongar.

Gates open at 6.30pm, with tickets costing £5 for adults and £3 for children.
