Remembrance Sunday services will be taking place in various locations across the borough to honour those who fought and died in the line of duty.

Parades will be held at Waltham Forest Town Hall, Chingford fire station, Coronation Gardens in Leyton and at Leytonstone Harrow Green Memorial.

Participants for the parade at the Town Hall should meet at Lloyd Park at 10.10am for a 10.25 departure.

Observers should meet at the Town Hall at 10.45am ahead of the parade’s arrival at 10.50am.

Two minutes silence will be observed at 11am followed by the Civic Service of Remembrance.

The Chingford fire station parade will depart at 10.40am and participants are asked to arrive from 10am.

The service will take place at the memorial at the junction of King’s Head Hill followed by two minutes silence and the laying of wreaths.

A church service will follow in the Church of SS Peter and Paul.

The Coronation Gardens parade will meet at the Buckingham Road gates at 9.30am.

The service and wreath laying concludes at 10.15am.

The parade continues to St Mary’s Parish Church for a 10.30am service.

A service at Leytonstone’s Harrow Green Memorial, on the High Road, begins at 10.30am.
