A dog left without an owner has been given a trolley load of dog food.
Following the death of Emeile Buckner, 78, an appeal was made by her friends for a collection for her dog, Julie.
Morrison’s in High Road, Loughton, were approached for a donation and responded by donating a trolley load of dog food and a dog Christmas stocking on Wednesday evening.
Store assistant deputy manager Daniel Oldland said:”We donated around £30 of dog food to cover the costs while the dog is being re-homed.
“Emeile was known to members of staff here and she used to shop here so we felt we should help out.”
