Remembrance services will take place across the district next Sunday to commemorate service personnel who died while fighting for their country.
The Royal British Legion is organising a parade to the war memorial in Epping assembling at the Civic offices in High Street.
The Epping Forest Pipe Band will lead the procession at 2.05pm with a wreath-laying ceremony planned at the memorial at 2.20pm.
A remembrance service will be held at St John’s Church at 3pm with further wreaths will be laid outside the church at 4.14pm.
Refreshments are available after at the Epping Hall afterwards and service goers are also welcome at the Hemnall Social Club, Hemnall Street.
St Mary’s Church in The Street, High Ongar, will hold a service at 10.30am followed by an Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial.
A parade from the Royal British Legion in Church Hill, Loughton, will take place at 11.50 to the War memorial in Kings Green, High Road.
An act of Remembrance will also be held outside the War Memorial Health Centre in Fyfield Road, Ongar, at 2.30pm with wreaths being laid on the Remembrance wall at the front of the building.
