A 26-year-old man charged in connection with an attack on an autistic teenager in Walthamstow will appear in court next week.
On Thursday Lee Westcott, of no fixed abode, was arrested and charged with robbery, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis.
He appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Friday and pleaded guilty to the cannabis charge.
Westcott, who remains in custody, will enter please to the two other charges at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday November 15.
An 18-year-old was attacked as she walked through the Billet Road roundabout underpass on October 12.
