Bookmakers are being targeted in a clampdown on litter.
Council enforcement officers are set to visit betting shops in Bakers Arms and High Street, Walthamstow, to ensure they are taking responsibility for litter left by customers.
Businesses can be issued with fixed penalty notices if they are found not to be addressing the problem.
The two-week operation, which is part of the Don't Mess With Waltham Forest Campaign, began yesterday.
