A supermarket has applied for planning permission to refurbish a store and extend its car park.
Sainsbury’s, in Torrington Drive, Debden, submitted plans which include demolishing existing units surrounding the present car park in order to expand and reconfigure the parking area.
The retailer is also proposing to change the appearance of the store and create a lobby area as well as creating a new entrance to the site.
