The pothole that started my hole campaign has finally been filled.
After months of waiting, motorists using Epping New Road can now roll smoothly over the site, in Buckhurst Hill, near the junction with Brook Road and Church Road where a pothole once was.
I reported the rut at the start of the month, although it had already been there for many months and yesterday after 25 days the council has taken action.
This good news story goes to show what can happen if you shout loud enough.
That puts the council’s record at three repaired - still 22 to go.
