Remembrance services will be held in Epping Forest and across the London boroughs of Waltham Forest and Redbridge this weekend and on Monday.
Remembrance Day services will be held to pay respect to servicemen and women who have given their lives in past and present conflicts.
On Saturday, there will be a two-minute silence and wreath laying service organised by Chingford Royal British Legion at Chingford Memorial Park in Chingford Mount Road from 10.45am.
Following the service there will be a short wreath laying service at St Edmonds Church in Larkswood Road, Chingford and then a veterans lunch at 63 in Hall Lane, Chingford.
On Sunday services will be held in Leyton, Leytonstone, Waltham Abbey, Loughton, Chingford, Walthamstow, Wanstead, Epping and Ongar.
Leyton's remembrance Sunday service will start at 9.30am at the Buckingham gates of Coronation Gardens. The parade will continue onto St Mary's Parish Church for a service starting at 10.30am.
Participants for Walthamstow's service on Sunday should meet at Lloyd Park at 10.10am for a 10.25 departure to the Town Hall. A two-minute silence will be observed at 11am.
The Chingford remembrance service will also take place on Sunday. Participants will meet at Chingford Fire Station at 10am and march to the war memorial at the top of King's Head Hill where a wreath-laying service will take place.
Services in Redbridge will take place on Remembrance Day itself, Monday, as well as over the weekend.
The dedication of the field of remembrance service at the Woodford war memorial, in High Road, South Woodford, will begin at 9am on Saturday, with both the mayor, Cllr Felicity Banks, and deputy mayor Cllr Tania Soloman in attendance.
Ilford war memorial, in Eastern Avenue, will host a civic service of remembrance at 10.50am on Sunday and Wanstead war memorial, in Wanstead High Street, will host a service of remembrance at 12.30pm, also on Sunday.
Two events will take place on remembrance day itself, with one at Fairlop Waters Country Park at 11am attended by the mayor, and one at Snaresbrook Gardens of remembrance at 11am, attended by the deputy mayor.
