A procession and service took place in Epping today to commemorate servicemen and woman who have fought and died for their country.
The parade was organised by the Royal British Legion who assembled at the Civic office in High Street, before the Epping Forest Pipe Band lead a procession at 2.05pm to a wreath-laying ceremony which commenced at 2.20pm.
At 3.00pm a remembrance service began at St John the Baptist Church and more wreaths were laid outside the church at 4.15pm.
Refreshments were served after the service in Epping Hall, St John’s Road, and residents were also invited to Hemnall Social Club on Hemnall Street.
