West Hatch High School-educated Joey Essex has admitted he cannot tell the time, while appearing on ITV’s reality show I’m a Celebrity Get me Out of Here.
As well as catching the eye with very small shorts, Mr Essex confessed to not being able to read a traditional clock.
Fellow contestant Amy Willerton then tried, and failed, to teach the 23-year-old TOWIE star the skill usually mastered by primary school children.
He had earlier declared that he wanted to avoid arguments in the jungle, saying he didn’t want to “confrontate” anyone.
Mr Essex also described the taste of ostrich penis as like a “school rubber covered in wee, vinegar and a bit of ketchup”.
No-one at West Hatch High was available for comment.
