A photography exhibition opening this week documents the “unseen” side of Waltham Forest.
Walthamstow and District Photographic Society will on Thursday launch Unseen Waltham Forest, a collection of images shining light on places in the borough that usually go unnoticed.
More than 60 photographs, taken by around 25 members, will go on display at Vestry House Museum in Vestry Road, Walthamstow.
Photographers documented places such as Leyton bus garage’s engineering department, Gods Own Junkyard neon gallery in Walthamstow and Walthamstow market around dawn.
The exhibition opens on Thursday evening between 6pm and 8pm and runs until May 18.
