Dramatic displays of BMX stunts and skateboarding skills will kick off a festival being held in Walthamstow next month.
Street 17 is expected to draw thousands in again this year as the free event combines music with art and a range of performances.
The UK’s leading professional BMX group, Team Extreme will offer free coaching sessions as films of the borough play on the screen in the Town Square.
Organiser Adam Taylor said the event is designed for all ages.
“It’s free and there’s something for everyone – especially young people,” he added.
Street dancers, sculptors and artists will perform live at the event on August 17.
Last year’s festival attracted 2,000 visitors.
Street17 runs is under the Big Screen in Walthamstow Town Square from noon until 5pm.
